Dear ICSL2002 Participants:

We want to thank you for attending the 8th International Conference on Salt Lake Research.  We were pleased with the quality of presentations at the conference and look forward to reviewing and publishing your manuscripts.  Manuscripts derived from oral and poster presentations will be peer-reviewed and, if accepted, published in a special volume of Hydrobiologia and available as a book in the Developments of Hydrobiology series.  All submission must adhere to the instructions to authors for Hydrobiologia which can be found on the web site: http://www.wkap.nl/kaphtml.htm/IFA0018-8158.  Manuscripts must contain original, significant work of interest to the general saline lake research community.  Previous publications resulting from the Int. Conf. on Salt Lake Research were Hydrobiologia Vols: 81, 105, 158, 197, 210, 381 & 466.
 
Please reply as to whether or not you intend to submit a manuscript by October 10th.  Manuscripts submissions must be received by 1 November 2002.
