Krasnoyrsk city tour
Before departure to Zhemchuzhny we would like to propose you Krasnoyarsk city tour.
Open for yourself one of the pearls of Siberia - geographical center of Russia - the city KRASNOYARSK. It was founded in 1628 by the leader of the Cossacks Andrey Dubensky, but it developed rapidly only after the Trans-Siberian Railway construction.
Krasnoyarsk strikes with its natural beauty - the mighty Enissey River, endless taiga, cliffs. It is very rich in cultural traditions as well. While in Krasnoyarsk you will get acquainted with the richest history, culture and traditions of the Siberian people, which date back to the 17th century. The other great property of the Siberian land is it`s people - proud, freedom-loving and hospitable.
You will see almost the whole city from Karaulnaya Hill, its picture is shown on a 10-ruble note, the ship on board of it legendary Lenin sailed to the exile. You will tour the Regional Museum, considered one of the best museums in Russia. The museum was opened after reconstruction in 2001 and surprises with its modern view and invaluable historical collection.
Take a tour by a fast river-boat along the Enissey to Divnogorsk. The town, initially established for the builders of the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Station, now has really become one of the most wonderful towns of Siberia. Enjoy the view of the stunning rocks of the opposite riverbank, after which the town was named (it means `wonderful rocks`). You board the bus to take you back to Krasnoyarsk. You will take the steep and curvy road which was closed for foreigners until perestroika.
The South of Siberia, Shushenskoye
You will find yourself in the old village of Shushenskoe, where the legendary Lenin was exiled to. You will see the highest hydro power station "Sayano-Shushenskaya" and the typical Siberian house (izba) at the beginning of the 20th century, take part in the traditional ceremonies of that time. The beauty and extraordinary harmony of these places bringing peace and solace shall enchant you.
27 July Departure to Shushenskoe village. Accommodation, dinner at the restaurant. In Shushenskoye village of you will be involved in various old games and performances at the museum of an old Siberian village from the turn of the century. After that - tea party with the bird cherry pie in the typical Siberian house ( izba).

28 July Breakfast, departure to Sayanogorsk In the afternoon you will visit the highest hydro power station. Visit the village ' Sizaja' the motherland of the famous wrestler Ivan Yarygin. Lunch in Sayanogorsk.
Back to the hotel. Dinner.
29 July Departure to Krasnoyarsk. Picnic on the way with a visit of burial mounds

Tourist camp "Snezhny Bars"
The Sayan's alpine beauty and ecological purity have been noted by UNESCO as one of the rarities of our planet. Here the Snow Leopard Camp lies. Cozy, comfortable cedar cabins are arranged near a mountain river, surrounded by centuries-old cedar and fir trees, but your feet are literally lost in the affectionate softness of the earth's thick carpet of moss. This is the taiga.
The air is so clear that you begin to breathe with every cell of your body and get tipsy on the variety of grass fragrances. This ecological paradise isn't disturbed by gnats, mosquitoes or ticks - they are simply absent. The full physical and spiritual comforts of the taiga are enjoyed at the Camp Snow Leopard's wonderful Russian banya, take a steam bath with a fresh switch of green birch and conifer branches, and then dip into a clear mountain stream.
Your body will get the feeling of perfection, sense real joy in the thought that you are a "creation of nature", and experience absolute peace and harmony around you.
27 June Arrival at the Snow Leopard. Dinner. Acquaintance with the camp. Guitar music near the fire.
28 June After breakfast you will visit the huntrer`s lodge not far from the camp. The experienced hunters will tell you a lot of interesting about the inhabitants of the taiga. Lunch. Lecture about taiga herbs hold by an expert. Siberian banya (sauna). Dinner. Entertainment program in the evening.
29 June After breakfast departure to Krasnoyarsk. Lunch on the way with the visit of burial mounds.

Tourist Camp "Kyug"
Discover the ancient mysteries of Khakasia, while staying in Yurta complex "Kug" ("kug" means "pleasure"). Here there is all convenience: modern shower cabins, toilets, the heating on case of cool night is provided. The cosy interior will allow perfectly to have a rest in such exotic dwelling.
The complex consists of 15 octagonal wooden yurtas, comfortable and cosy, each yurta is designed for 2 persons. On territory of a complex there is a cafe - bar, souvenir-shop, possibility to ride on a horse or to do easy climbing in the mountainous local around the camp.
Traditional Russian and European cuisine is combined with national khakassian dishes.
Here in a few hours' walk you will be able to discover Khakassia and its best hidden secrets: untouched steppe in bloom, mountains covered with deep forest, clean river and, certainly, more than a thousand valuable archaeological objects - burial mounds, some excavated, rock inscriptions and sacred mountain temples. 27 July Arrival. Accommodation. After lunch - visit of the ancient burial mounds and the excursion "The Ancient Gods of Siberia". This collection of stones with inscriptions is 200 ¬ from the yurtas. After lunch - the folklore Khakassian concert.
28 July Excursion to the Valley of "Chity-Khis" ( "Seven Sisters"). Here, burial mounds, some of them excavated, shaman and Bhuddist rock inscriptions are abundant. Finally you will explore Siberian Scythe mounds and Khakassian family symbols -"tamga". Lunch outdoors. After lunch you will explore the Beisk cave. The excursion will end by the ancient farewell ceremony - binding up the ribbons "Chaloma". The excursion is 8 hours long.
29 July After breakfast departure to Krasnoyarsk, picknick on the way. Arrival at Krasnoyarsk late in the evening.
